We know Utah in the snow on the Wasatch and the sun on red rock. We know the peach orchards around Brigham City, the ski runs, and the pioneer trails still visible in the landscape. We believe news should make sense of life between the Great Salt Lake and the desert. We tell you what is happening across that ground and why it matters to the people who call it home. How we started

Utah stretches from the Wasatch’s snowy slopes to red-rock country, with the Great Salt Lake, desert valleys and mountain towns in between. We started Our Utah Times because a place with that much variety asks us to look closely: at water and land, at work in orchards and on the slopes, and at the choices that carry across very different communities.

We cover Utah statewide, including Brigham City, where peach orchards are part of the local landscape. We bring those places into the same conversation without treating them as interchangeable. Our Utah Times is part of Times Media Service, a network of local news sites.
