UNION, SOUTH CAROLINA, June 25 (Nationwide Times) — Three Wendy’s employees in Union, South Carolina, were charged after police said they took a customer’s drive-thru food from the trash, spat on it and served it again at the North Duncan Bypass restaurant.

The Union Police Department said the customer complained about her first meal and staff offered to remake it. Police said the food that went back to the customer was the same order and that it had been tampered with before being served.

Authorities identified the charged employees as Aaliyah Shuntai Sanders, Trinity Lashell Rice and Shadela Crystal Holley.

Fox News reported the three were charged with tampering with a human drug product or food item.
